Project Management

Programme structure, controls and reporting when the team needs another pair of hands on the schedule, the cost report or the risk register, under your name, for as long as the need lasts.

When it fits

When this is the right support

The schedule has outrun the team

A baseline that is no longer updated, a look-ahead nobody has time to prepare, or a recovery plan that has to be written before the next client meeting.

A reporting cycle needs an owner

Monthly progress, cost and risk reports that must be produced in the client's format, on time, while the core team stays on delivery.

A project office has to be set up, or covered

A PMO that needs registers, a rhythm and a set of templates quickly, or cover for a planner or project controls lead who is away.

What we do

What the work covers

Take any part of it. Most assignments are one line item from one stage, for one package.

Planning and scheduling

Baseline and programme review, progress updates, look-ahead plans, critical path and float analysis, recovery and mitigation options.

Project controls

Progress measurement, cost monitoring and forecasting, change and variation tracking, cash-flow and earned-value reporting where the contract calls for it.

Risk management

Risk register set-up and upkeep, workshops, ownership and mitigation tracking, and a short list the project director can act on.

Reporting

Monthly and weekly reports, dashboards and meeting packs in your format, with the numbers reconciled to source.

Interface and stakeholder management

Interface registers between packages and parties, action tracking, and a clear record of who owes what to whom.

PMO support

Document and register structure, templates, meeting rhythm and escalation routes for a project office that is new or stretched.

How an assignment runs

From first message to closed record

01

Describe the scope

Send the package, its stage, the dates and the systems in use to [email protected]. A reply follows within one business day, in any time zone.

02

Agree the basis

We come back with a proposed scope, a resource profile and a rate basis in your contract currency.

03

Work under your name

Deliverables use your templates, numbering and review codes. The work is done in your document system, remotely or on site.

04

Close out cleanly

At the end of the period the record is complete and left in your system, so your team can carry on without us.

Engage by the assignment (fixed scope, fixed price), by the period (days per week for a set duration) or on call (a retained monthly allocation). How we work →

Questions

Common questions

Can you work with our scheduling tool?

We work in the format the project already uses, for example a Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project file. Send the programme in its native format or as an export, and we update it there and return it in the same format.

Do you replace our project manager?

No. We add capacity to your team, under your name. The project manager's decisions, and the sign-off on reports that go to your client, stay with your team.

How short can an assignment be?

A week or a single reporting cycle is fine. The engagement options are listed above: by the assignment, by the period, or on call.

What the package is, where it is, what stage it has reached and how long you need cover for. That is enough to come back with a proposed scope, a resource profile and a rate basis in your contract currency.
